Double Digits!

Kaylee is officially a decade old! Can you believe it? I am trying to come to grips with it myself. She's had an ongoing celebration since Saturday. On Saturday she had a friend party at the pool. The weather was fabulous and I didn't have to entertain the kids and they still had fun, so it was a success. On Sunday we had a family party for Kaylee, Rachel and Dalin our June birthdays. I made them each a little cake so they could all blow out their own candles, but I forgot my camera so I'll have to get those from my sister-in-law. I tried to make a graduation cap cake for Austin, but it kind of collapsed right before we left so he got cupcakes instead. On Monday (her actual birthday) I took cupcakes for her school class and after school she got her haircut from the same stylist my sister and I go to (fan-cy). Kaylee had gotten a birthday cupon for a free kids meal at Chevy's so we went there for dinner. Dalin fell asleep while we were there so she didn't get to use her birthday cupon from Golden Spoon so the celebrating continues. Here are a few of our favorite ten year old's favorites.

Color: Purple
Food: McDonald's chicken nuggets
Pass time: READING
Saying: Her "eye rolls" say a lot (she may disagree with this saying, but it's the one I get the most often)
Subject: Reading/Math
TV Show: Wizards of Waverly Place/iCarly
Movie: Kung Fu Panda

Kaylee is such a wonderful part of our family. She is smart and pretty and a great example to her sister and brothers. She is definately a rule follower, which I love. Happy Birthday Kaylee! We love you!
