Happy Thanksgiving! I am truly thankful for how blessed my family and I have been, and I hope you all had a great day. Chris has been on my case for not writing often enough, so here I am trying to catch you all up on our lives.
Chris did really well on the test he took in California, so the trip was a success. I knew he would do fantastic, but he never believes it until he gets the test results.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! Yesterday Chris and I have been married for nine years. It has gone by faster than I could have imagined, but it's been great to be with my best friend every day, and to still look forward to him coming home from work everyday. I have to admit I still get butterflies sometime when I look at him. I love you Chris. To celebrate Dalin got croup. Poor kid, he's getting better, but he was dealing with a fever and he still has a cough. H's a real trooper though, he hasn't been extra cranky, and he only cries when he needs to cough, because it hurts. I feel so bad for him, he loves to hear himself talk, and he can only make soft noises. It would be cute if he wasn't sick.
My brother Aaron initiated the first ever Hafen Turkey Trot today. It was mostly a race between my brothers Aaron, Brandon and Austin but the rest of us walked around the track. After the first lap, my dad told me that Ashton told him there was a dead body in the bleachers. I called her over so we could investigate. As we headed up the stairs I suggested that it was probably someone sleeping. "No mom he wasn't breathing." I'm pretty sure I saw him move so we decided that he was sleeping. Why he was at the top of the bleachers we'll never know. I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that she wasn't more freaked out.
I have to go for now, but I do have more stories for tomorrow.
